By: C.S. LewisThis book is about four children (Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy) who are sent away during World War II. They are sent to a professor’s house in the English countryside. When the kids arrive to the professor’s house and explore around, Lucy discovers a wardrobe in an empty room. When Lucy enters the wardrobe she finds a whole new world called Narnia. She looks around and meets a faun, Mr. Tumbus who takes her into his home and tells her about the stories of Narnia. When she returns home she runs to tell her siblings about Narnia, but no one believes her. The four children do finally all enter in the wardrobe and see this new world Narnia. The children meet some strange characters and they tell the kids about the prophecy and Aslan. Later the children get caught up in a war to help save Narnia.

One day the Carl received a call saying that there had been a shooting up on the ridge. Through the book it goes on to tell about the murder and everything that has to go along with that.
